Two things that need to be said

Pinterest.  ENOUGH WITH THE CUTENESS.  I'm dying of cuteness.  Our entire civilization is dying of cuteness.  I'm afraid for the next generation.  Not everything has to be floral.  Or vintage.  Or a play on words.  Or shellacked onto your unfortunate living room wall.

NPR.  I hope you realize what you reduce me to during your membership campaign.  This morning I actually listened to the Black Eyed Peas.  Because during these unending 3 or 4 weeks per year, the insistence that tonight is going to be a good night is, in fact, LESS irritating than your insistence that I donate.
